Hercules® Un-purple Primer

- Clear primer
- For use on PVC and CPVC pipe and fittings
- Appears clear but shows purple under UV light
- Removes surface dirt, grease and grime
- Softens pipe surface to allow for a fast, secure solvent weld
- Easy to apply on any diameter of PVC or CPVC piping with included in-lid dauber
- Recommended application temperature of 40°F to 110°F / 4°C to 43°C
- All Hercules solvent cement and primer products are certified to UL Greenguard Gold
- Low VOC, high performance primer meets California South Coast Air Quality Management Districts (SCAQMD) 1168/316A or BAAQMD Method 40 requirements, meets ASTM Standard F656 and complies with NSF/ANSI 61 health effects requirements
