The following terms govern your use of the AI-powered chat service on Oatey.com (the “Chatbot”). Please read the following disclaimer before using the Chatbot. Regarding your use of the Chatbot, if any terms of this Chatbot Disclaimer conflict with any terms in our Privacy Policy or Cookie Policy, the terms of this Chatbot Disclaimer shall govern.

Use of the Chatbot

1. You may provide input to the Chatbot (“Input”) and receive output from the Chatbot based on the Input (“Output”). Input and Output are collectively referred to as “Content”. You represent and warrant that you have all rights, licenses, and permissions needed to provide Input to the Chatbot. You agree to us (Oatey Co.), our affiliates, and our third-party partners monitoring and recording of Content, as well as processing Content for any purpose and/or in any manner.
2. DO NOT SHARE PERSONAL INFORMATION WITH THE CHATBOT. For your own protection, do not share personal information with the Chatbot, for example, name, address (partial or full), race, gender, date of birth, phone number, personal identification number(s), financial information, healthcare information, or any information related to your physical, physiological, genetic, mental, economic, cultural or social identity. If your Input includes personal information, you expressly consent to us, our affiliates, and/or our third-party partner(s) processing and/or transferring such personal information for any purpose and in any manner, including, but not limited to, processing for marketing purposes, unencrypted processing/transferring, etc.
3. You are using the Chatbot at your own risk. We make no guarantee as to the efficacy and/or accuracy of the Output. You assume all risks associated with using the Chatbot, including, but not limited to, known/unknown risks, foreseeable/unforeseeable risk, etc.
4. By using the Chatbot, you agree that we, our affiliates, and/or our third-party partner(s) may collect, use, and store Content and any usage data to provide the Chatbot and/or in our ordinary course of business, including, but not limited to, marketing purposes, consumer preferences, website usage and tracking, data logging, improving our products or services, etc.
5. When interacting with the Chatbot, you may be asked to provide an email address so that one of our technical specialties can contact you directly. If you provide your email address, you are expressly consenting to being contacted by us. As a condition of us contacting you, you are required to consent to receiving other communications from us, including, but not limited to, customer service communications, marketing communications, etc. You can unsubscribe from marketing communications at any time. Further, you consent to us, our affiliates, and/or our third-party partners processing and storing your email address. Providing your email address for this purpose is solely at your discretion.
6. Use of the Chatbot is subject to this Chatbot Disclaimer, our Website Terms of Use , our Privacy Policy, our Cookie Policy, our service provider’s, HubSpot’s, Privacy Policy, which are incorporated by reference. You understand and agree that the Chatbot is powered by HubSpot, and your use of the Chatbot may be subject to other terms and conditions with Hubspot. You represent and warrant that your use of the Chatbot is in full compliance with any such terms and conditions with Hubspot.

Artificial Intelligence; Use Limitation; and Errors or Inaccuracies

1. You understand and acknowledge that Output is generated by artificial intelligence (“AI”). AI can make mistakes and/or misinterpret questions.
2. The Chatbot provides Output based on information from our website. The Chatbot may not have access to all of the information on our website. Output may not reflect the most current data, regulations, or product specifications. For additional information about our products, always consult the official product instructions, Safety Data Sheets (SDS), technical submittals, and any other documentation available on our website.
3. Output may not be accurate. You should always independently verify Output and consult with professionals for specific advice or information, including, but not limited to, seeking professional assistance for plumbing work, compliance with plumbing codes, product warranties, product installation, product specifications, purchasing inquiries, etc.
4. Human review is necessary. Since Output may be inaccurate, you should always evaluate Output for accuracy and appropriateness for your use case. You are responsible for ensuring compliance with all applicable building codes, regulations, and safety standards. Some states require licenses before home improvement services may be performed. Please check the laws in your area.
5. The Chatbot may provide incomplete, incorrect, or offensive Output. Such Output does not represent our views.

WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE CHATBOT WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, ACCURATE OR ERROR-FREE, OR THAT ANY CONTENT WILL BE SECURE OR NOT LOST OR ALTERED.
2. YOU ACCEPT AND AGREE THAT ANY USE, INTERPRETATION, OR RELIANCE OF OUTPUT IS AT YOUR SOLE RISK AND YOU WILL NOT RELY ON OUTPUT AS BEING ACCURATE OR ERROR FREE, OR AS A SUBSTITUTE FOR PROFESSIONAL ADVICE.
3. YOU ASSUME ALL RISK ASSOCIATED WITH USING THE CHATBOT. EXCEPT TO THE EXTENT PROHIBITED BY LAW, NEITHER WE NOR ANY OF OUR AFFILIATES OR THIRD-PARTY PARTNERS WILL BE LIABLE FOR ANY DIRECT, INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, PUNATIVE, OR EXEMPLARY DAMAGES, INCLUDING DAMAGES FOR LOSS OF PROFITS, GOODWILL, USE, OR DATA OR OTHER LOSSES ARISING FROM OR RELATED TO YOUR USE OF THE CHATBOT OR THE OUTPUT.
