Oatey SCS® Introduces New AURORA™ Solar Flashings

CLEVELAND, Ohio (April 21, 2011) – Oatey SCS introduces it new line of side flashings designed for outside wall penetrations.      Specifically engineered to protect against the migration of moisture, outside air and pests that have been found to be issues where flashings are not typically used.

·         Two flashings provide the versatility to fit mounting pipe sizes ranging from ½” though 6”.  The durable weather resistant thermoplastic collars are specially designed to be easily changed in the field to fit a range of mounting pipe diameters.  This minimizes the number of SKU’s both the contractor and distributor need to carry and allows the flexibility to adapt the product at the jobsite.

·         The weather resistant seal reduces air migration minimizing mold growth, reduces energy costs, and keeps bugs and vermin from entering the building.

·         Far less expensive, longer lasting and more reliable then caulking or foam.  Our special thermoplastic assembly is rated for 180°F and won’t fade, crack or rust.
